Handmade slippers with 100 years anniversary – coming up 2023!

Docksta Sko has been manufacturing slippers and other shoe products since 1923 and will, for the company’s 100th anniversary, start building a completely new factory at the foot of Skuleberget in the High Coast.

A company that has been around for 100 years of course has a long and crooked history, but what has always been their hallmark is that they manufacture is handmade. Quality is something they will always put first.

The company had their biggest breakthrough (so far) when the designer Christina Olofsson used the slipper from Docksta Sko at a fashion show in London 1998. At that point the volume increased to 20 000 slippers per year, double the volume from before the fashion show.

The entertainer and artist Ronny Eriksson has been saying that the slippers from Docksta Sko is the worlds most offensive slippers – it is impossible to go backwards in them.

With new owners and new management, the company has continued to develop collaborations with creative designers and today works with names such as Mats Theselius, Nadja Wedin, Emma von Brömssen, Denis Vilenica and of course they still have all the classics such as the models Gunilla and Patrik to offer.

After their big break in London the customer went from elder people to fashion-conscious living in the big cities

I am my self a very happy owner of a pair of brown Patrik that fits my feet perfect!
